Working with well-known lighting professionals and artists, groups of Toronto design students will create and implement temporary site-specific installations that use the latest lighting equipment to illuminate, landscape features and public art lighting in Victoria Memorial Park – historic Toronto park at Wellington and Portland Street.

The focus of the installations will be on sustainable lighting that improves, adds interest and brings drama to urban spaces.

Artists will look at relevent issues and the history of the park to come up with installations that invite the community to enjoy and think about the topic at hand.

A group of design industry leaders with expertise in promoting sustainable lighting through education to come together with local renowned artists.
