Public perceptions about marginalized students are not always accurate. The purpose of this installation is to counter existing myths about marginalized students and to assert that they are as diverse and dynamic as the patterns a kaleidoscope generates.

Those who visit the installation will look into an array of kaleidoscopes suspended from a canopy adorned with lights. Spectators will see dynamic patterns harmonizing with bold messages that counter myths about marginalized students.

This piece was created by students of Monsignor Fraser, whose voices reflect personal connections to the exhibition’s themes.
